This week Scott teaches from Acts 17:1-15 where Paul and Silas begin to illustrate what it means to Repeat God's mission. Scott casts vision for Renovo in the coming year and asks how you are preparing yourself to do the work God has called you to do? Is it in accordance with the word of God? Just as Paul and Silas move through the region proclaiming the Gospel, work this week to Renew lost souls, Revive relationships, and Repeat God's mission.

This week Scott teaches from Acts 16:16-40 where Paul and Silas are imprisoned after the public rebuke of the fortune telling girl. When we stand up against evil in this world we are sometimes falsely accused of wrong doing. Paul and Silas were sent to prison but just as God overcame the walls of the prison for Paul and Silas, he is greater than anything we will face. His promise is to always be with us through everything. Proclaim the Gospel without fear this week.

This week Scott teaches from Acts 16:6-15 asking you to think about who in your life is calling out for help? Don't let the things of this world distract you from the calling of God. Just as Paul responded to the Macedonian call, love someone that needs to feel God's love this week.

This week Scott teaches from Acts 15:36-16:4 and Galatians 2:11-14 and shares a message about the power of God to move in people's hearts. People who once claimed other Gods and those that never knew the one true God were being moved toward following Christ. Just as God proved his faithfulness in the work of Paul and Barnabas, Scott encourages us to support and join in the missionary work occurring in our own community as well as those that are being commissioned to international work. Keep our Africa Team in your prayers this week as they finalize preparations to depart.

This week Scott shares a Fathers Day message from Acts 15:22-35 and challenges us to search for the sin in our lives. Just as Paul and Barnabus were sent with a message to abstain from things that cause us to sin, that same message is relevant in our lives today. Applying this specifically to the Men in our midst, we are called to be the leaders of our households and pastors to our families. The following link is to a free book that is authored by Mark Driscoll and available on the Resurgence Website: Pastor Dad, we hope you can find time to read through some of these practical explanations of our call as men to lead our families.

Scott returns to share a message from Acts 13:13-52 focused on the restoration power of the Gospel. There are many times in our lives when we get bogged down with day to day details and we end up missing the larger perspective of what we are trying to accomplish. We often see Christ as a figure that rules from on high and is separate from us, but the truth is he is right here with us. There are no situations that we can not overcome with him by our side. Find restoration in your brokenness this week as you look to Jesus as our one and only redeemer.

Larry Redelsperger shares a special message from Acts 13 on the ministry of Paul and Barnabas. Also reading from Psalm 29, 89, and 97 Larry shares how the power of God has overcome Satan. The work of Christ on the cross has overcome all of the work of Satan and each of us are equipped with gifts to proclaim the gospel of Christ. Just as Paul and Barnabas ministered together, find someone this week who can help you make the most of your spiritual gifts.
