Scott Wallace visits and shares an encouraging message from Acts 8:1-25. The Spirit of God is in charge of the Church and when persecution comes it is often at the will of God. As followers of Christ, God desires for each of us to be filled with his Spirit so that we can be sent out to fulfill his Word. God's power is very real to us today and is not limited by our often closed minded and limiting expectations. We are encouraged to cry out for His Spirit in our walk with Him.
We are encouraging everyone to continue reading through the book of Luke this month.

Scott Christensen continues our sermon series from the book of Acts with a message entitled Ministry Distractions. Scott teaches from Acts 6:1-7 with a message encouraging everyone to join with us in the ministry of the Church. We see in the early church that the needs were more than the disciples could accomplish alone. Likewise at Renovo we need many more hands to share in the work. When the Church begins to be the Church, God's message begins to multiply. Join with us in the ministry of reaching people for Christ!

Scott Christensen continues our sermon series from the book of Acts with a message entitled The Church Persecuted. Scott teaches from Acts 5:17-42 with a message challenging us to proclaim the gospel as the disciples did. In the face of persecution they were bold to follow what God had commanded and trusted fully in God's plan. Jesus came to make disciples and we need more people to join us in God's mission. Sitting in chairs on Sunday is not enough to advance the kingdom of Christ. Will you join us?

Scott Christensen continues our sermon series from the book of Acts with a message entitled No Other Name. Scott teaches from Acts 3:1-26 with a challenge for each of us to reach out to the crippled or poor in our lives. People without support abound around each of us and just as in this passage of Acts, who are the people in your life that you are just dropping off at the gates and passing by? Christ calls each of us to repentance and to find redemption in him. Instead of looking for ways to focus the attention on ourselves, let Christ be the reason for our redeption, our acts, our love of others, and our worship.

Jake McVay continues our sermon series from the book of Acts with a message entitled They Devoted Themselves. Jake teaches from Galatians 5:22-25 and Acts 2:42-47 posing the question of where our true devotion lies? How often do you lose focus on the true calling and mission because you have stopped the pursuit of Jesus as your foremost action? If we are not intentional in our pursuit of Christ first everything else is for not. As a church we should not be satisfied and content with our accomplishments because our work is not finished. Jake leaves us with the challenge that community takes sacrifice and a willingness to put yourself and your needs aside to help others.

Scott Christensen continues to teach from the book of Acts with a message entitled The Gospel. Scott teaches from 2 Kings 5:1-14, and Acts 2:22-41 on Peter's sermon that saw 3,000 people saved in one day. Our sin separates us from God and the results of that sin is death. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins and it is only through his work on the cross can we be saved. God has called all of us to repent, to turn from ourselves and run to Him.
